Empowered Communities Prosper

COMMUNITY GROUPS ARE THE BACKBONE OF THE FISHERY

The task of improving a fishery is a long-term process. Often that task is left to community organisations with a mix of volunteer, funding and professional support.

Infofish Australia is focused on providing the central tier of support, in professional data collection and analysis services to the community. Sometimes though, a project or group needs additional skills such as project planning, co-ordination, communications management or reporting.

Infofish has played that role on small scale, such as monitoring of juvenile barramundi in 12-mile creek near Rockhampton, to the national scale, running the multimillion dollar Released Fish Survival Strategy.

On this site you will find hundreds of reports, newsletters, project updates and more. We have collected them together and published them to enable anyone in the community to learn from our experiences. Click to view our publication list
