In Central Queensland there is a report card for Gladstone Harbour being developed by the Gladstone Healthy Harbour Partnership. The report card is available at http://ghhp.org.au/report-cards/2015. The report card includes an assessment of environment, social, economic and cultural health. Fish health is assessed as part of environmental health.

Fish recruits are considered to be sensitive to environmental factors and fish health issues so Bream recruitment was selected for the development of a fish indicator. Bream are the most caught species by recreational fishers and recruitment is measurable. Infofish has been working with GHHP on the development of an indicator in 2015 and 2016.
